Decorating for Fall has always been one of my favorites. I have challenged myself to make most of my Fall decor this year!! I wanted to create some little black pumpkin decor to compliment the rest of my decorations.

Last year, I picked up quite a bit of black and white buffalo print fall decor. I wanted some simple black pumpkin decor to pair with it but I’m having a hard time finding anything.
So when I was wandering down the aisles at the Dollar Tree the other day, I saw this grill scrubber & immediately thought pumpkin!!
Here I will show you how I created this black pumpkin decor for only $1.00 and in less than 5 minutes!

Here is the grill scrubber I found at the Dollar Tree that I planned on using to make my black pumpkin.
The first thing I did was remove the plastic from the back of the scrubber. This was fairly easy to do, you just have to go slowly if you want it to come off in one piece.
Once I had the back plastic off, I used my finger to create a small opening in the top. Again, this was very easy to do!
For the stem, I simply went outside and cut a small piece from a fallen branch.
Next, I put a dab of hot glue in the opening and then attached the stem.
I let it dry for a minute and then hot glued this small bow I had leftover from another project. This bow will help my new black pumpkin decor tie in with my collection of buffalo print fall decor.
There’s nothing I like more than a simple, easy, cheap project! What do you think of how it turned out?! You can easily duplicate this small pumpkin next time you head out to the dollar store.
I love decorating on a budget and the dollar store is full of things you can make cute decor with.
